Bill Steer will release an album in Feb 2003. KISS will play a one-off concert Feb 28 to celebrate Kiss' 30th anniv. w/ Orchestra. It will be released as DVD and CD November 23, 2002 SLAYER have set Feb.11, 2003 as the release date of their upcoming DVD, titled "War at the Warfield". November 15, 2002 AC/DC has been inducted into the 2003 class of the Rock and Roll hall of fame, they will be inducted on March 10 at NYC Waldorf Astoria. NUCLEAR ASSAULT has announced that they will tour to support their forthcoming live album "Alive Again" the band will be hitting the road on January 2003 DARK ANGEL, The highly anticipated December reunion tour has been postponed until March 2003. September 10, 2002 Black Cloud, this all-star thrash cover band was formed by bassist Jean-Yves Theriault (Voivod) along with guitarist Pierre Remillard (Obliveon), guitarist Daniel Mongrain (Martyr) drummer Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy) and vocalist Patrick Mireault (Ghoulunatics) - the group will cover songs from such thrash legends as Slayer, Venom, Motorhead, Celtic Frost, Metallica and Voivod. Jun Fabunan, bassist of Maria Cafra and brother of bandleader Resty Fabunan died of a Heart attack last June 12. August 31, 2002 Jason Newsted will be making material recorded by his side project IR8 and Sexoturica IR8 features Newsted, Exodus' Tom Hunting and Devin Townsend. Sexoturica features Newsted, Hunting and Sepultura's Andreas Kisser. Gene Hoglan has decided to join the reunited lineup of Dark Angel which includes guitarists Jim Durkin and Eric Meyer, and vocalist Ron Reinhart. June 28, 2002 John Entwistle, the bassist of The Who. was found dead of a heart attack in his Las Vegas room yesterday-June 27. Entwistle was 57. June 10, 2002 Tony Bono, the 38-year-old bassist with Whiplash & Into Another has died from a heart attack. Ozzy Osbourne will release the album "Live at the Budokan" at the end of June 2002. Judas Priest will finally release their live DVD, "Live in London" next June 25, 2002. The footage was filmed last Dec19 at the Brixton Academy in London.
