===Biography of Rik===
In The Beginning....
Hi, this is Rik. This is my biography page of myself. I was born May 28th, 1969 in Flint, MI. I grew up in Millington and moved to Flushing when I was 14. This was my "coming of age" period where I first was introduced to smoking (I quit in 1993) and partying. I quit school in 10th grade in 1985 but I attained my GED in May of 1996. I moved to Flint MI when I was 17 in 1986 and have basically been in the area ever since.
Beginning College....
After years of not knowing what to do with myself, I bravely enrolled in college in June of 1997. I started Baker College of Flint in Sept. 1997. It took me a few years there to make up my mind on what type of degrees I wanted to pursue after a breif enrollment in the Trucking program and assorted other programs. In Sept,2000 I started the Web Design program. Im going to pursue the Online program at Baker and I should have my associates degree in it by the end of next year. I'm also attaining some certifications in the meantime as well.
On A Personal Level.........
In other circles of my life, I have basically kept to myself as of late trying to get through school but I am open to meeting new people and some possible dating with someone special. Just getting my life in order and my priorities. In 1998 I found myself in a serious relationship with someone I met and that is where my son Travis comes in. We broke up in 1999.
What's Going On Today....
As of Dec, 2005 I am currently living on my own in Flint. I attend school still of course. This past June I actually qualifed for the Web Design Certificate. However, I'm going on till I attain the Associate Degree for Web Design. Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed my little biography:-) Rik 12/05
