The summer time is fun, its't it? I don't like to sleep too late or else half of the day has gone by, but I do like to make delicious meals, play with my friends, and shop. On sunny days it is fun to have a picnic, or go swimming outside. Just remember to do your summer reading, so that you will be up to date when school starts up again.

Dear Maki,
Cardcaptor Sakura is a shoujo (girl) anime involved with magic, comedy, a little romance, and action. An anime produced very similar to Cardcaptor Sakura is Corrector Yui. Sailormoon, Wedding Peach, Magical Knight Rayearth and Angelic Layer also fit into the same category as Cardcaptor Sakura. I do hope you check out some of these anime.

Ah… lets see… There’s cotton, polyester, satin, silk, broadcloth, muslin, vinyl, leather, linen, and so many others! Depending on what type of dress you want to make depends on what material to use. If you want something short, simple, and shiny I’d suggest a nice silk or perhaps a muslin. A kimono needs thick materials like linens while belts need very sturdy material like vinyl. Leather and silk can be a bit hard to work with if you are not experienced. But don’t forget about cotton and polyester; those are always good material for beginners.

I could never pick a best friend; I love them all. Who could do without Sakura’s cheerfulness, Tomoyo’s kindness, Chiharu’s wits, Naoko’s imagination, Li’s will //smile// or Yamazaki’s stories? They are all equal in my mind and I don’t choose favorites.

Any character personality…? I would say Ami Mizuno (Sailor Mercury) because she is very dedicated to her schoolwork and a good role model. My least want is Hotaru Tomoe's (Sailor Saturn) because she seems so lonely and her story is sad. I would love to wear the outfit of the TV star Sailor V; it is so original and fun! I don’t think I’d ever wear Cooan‘s (the youngest of the four sisters) outfit because it looks like a ballerina costume and that would be uncomfortable to fight in. I think it would be neat to fight in the name of ‘Love’ so I would take Minako’s (Sailor Venus) powers. Once again I wouldn’t like to have Hotaru Tomoe's (Sailor Saturn) powers because they seem ultimately powerful and dark. I think Rei Hino’s school uniform suits me best and I don’t have a least favorite in particular.

Dear Cardcaptor Linna,
As you said, there is no pressure, right? No evil force driving me to become a captor? I am not one hundred percent sure of myself. While I do think that it would be exciting and very thrilling, I must also think of the dangers. I could get injured or trapped and how good would I do my friends or myself by that? I’m also, unlike Sakura, Chiharu, and Naoko, not in the cheerleading club. I’m not used to all the rough play either. So do you see my predicament in this?

Yes, I have heard of anime conventions but I have never been to one. They are very popular in the Japan area. However, you have been to one, right? I have heard that most of the attendants are teenagers or older. A grade school girl might not fit in, right? I may consider going to a convention when I am older.
