My Landrovers
This was my first Landrover. A 1959 Series 2
with a 2.25 litre diesel engine. Very reliable, but
a little slow and noisy to be practical for long distance trips.
This is my current Landrover. A 1988 110 County.

Specifications :

* 4.2 litre stroked V8 petrol engine with Bosch electronic         ignition, 80 amp alternater and stainless steel exaust              system.

* Maxi-Drive front and rear diff locks. This conversion            includes sleeving, heavy duty axles and strengthening of        the front diff housing.

* Five speed gear box replaced with older, but stronger 4         speed.

* Heavy duty King springs on rear, Rover heavy duty springs on front. Koni shock absorbers all round.

* 'Camel Trophy' steering protection plate.

* Army spec  track rod and guard.

* ARB bullbar and side protection rails.

* Warn 10000Lb winch.

* 2 x 50 litre long range fuel tanks with duel pumps.

* 16 x 7 'Discovery' wheels. Centres removed and off-set
   to accommodate larger tyres.

* Duel batteries.

* 3 x Cibie 100 watt driving lights.

* Swing-away spare wheel and jack carrier.

* Alloy roof rack and ladder.

* Donaldson snorkel.

* 5 x 'Marsh' sports seats.

* Storage drawers in rear cargo area.

* UHF and VHF two way radios.

* Engine driven air compressor and reciever.
