Monk-Fest

Capdown have been playing since they were only 14, at the time they were called 'soap' around their hometown of Milton Keynes. A few years later Household name records heard a copy of their 'Time for change' demo and asked them to play a gig with Link 80, the Household name were quite impressed with their fresh style of ska-core punk and signed them up for a cdep at the gig. The band got ex-judas priest man Dave Holland to be their manager and got a few gigs going around London opening for bands. By this time they had got rid of the name 'soap' and from thereon they were called Capdown (Capitilist downfall ).

Touring with bands like Madball and being on the uxfest bill brought them a whole new load of fans and respect, blasting out excellent songs like the classic 'All coppers are bastards', 'positivity', 'cousin cleotis' and 'ska wars' :)

Now with some amazing albums released and countless gigs played supporting bands suchas The Dammed, Teen Idols, silencer 7, knuckledust, imbalance, vanillapod, king prawn, Link80, Mu330, Chinkees, Toasters, LunaChicks, Slackers, Consumed, Goober patrol. Tell me are you a bad fish too. Also doing a few of headline dates of their own, theyve earned themselves a good reputation as the best UK skacore band. Played in Plymouth on the 17th May 2002 and were fukkin amazing, they have to be the best live band I have ever seen... hope to see them again. Loose Cannon!!
