| Malibu Creek |

| For anyone in the Southern California area, Malibu Creek is in Malibu Canyon, off Lost Hills, off the 101 freeway. I went here with Tommy a few weeks ago. The bridge we were supposed to cross was out, so we "roughed it" through spider-infested woods filled with massive tarantula-wasps and rattlesnakes. We walked along the stream, trying to find a decent place to cross. Finally, we stretched a fallen tree across the water, but fell in trying to balance. So, the entire walk was pointless. |
| Next, we had to climb a steep, shade-less hill in order to get to the rock-pool. |
| Ah... the rock pool. At one point, between two cliffs, the stream widens and deepens into a beautiful reflective pool. The pool is also good for cliff-diving. This picture on the right is me, trying to get to a nice, tall rock to jump off of. (Note, I also lost my glasses in this pool, I think some of you might have read my bitching about that) |
