RigeTony's Squared Circle |

Hey there, G'Mornin'! Welcome to RigeTony's squared circle. A place at which I hope everyone gets a nice helping of wrestling news. This is my first time updating this page, in fact I am creating it right now, so news may be less then worthwhile. Since yesterday was the WWE Pay-Per-View "Unforgiven", lets start with that.
Un-Americans vs. Booker T, Goldust, Bubba Ray Dudley, and KaneNow lets pray I can muster up all that happened. First of all, the show started with the Un-American match. The match ended with Kane doing a choke-slam on Lance Storm, knocked down Regal I believe with what may have been a boot, then dived back at Lance Storm for the pin and the victory. After the match, Kane did his fire explosion thing, and Bubba Ray pulled out an American flag. Chris Jericho vs. Ric Flair (Intercontinental Championship Match)Next came the Jericho versus Ric Flair match. I wasn't too into this match. I personally think Ric Flair needs to do some off camera business work, because his ring skills are weakening day by day due to age. By the way, did anyone notice how fake that pasted on belt looked on Jericho in his match up clip that they show before the match? I can't believe they used it for the ppv. Anyway, back on track, about 10 minutes into the match Jericho performs a Lionsault off the middle rope and lands on his feet due to Flair moving. As soon as he landed he dropped to the ground and claimed that he heard a pop. Flair keeps inching closer to Jericho, wanting to continue beating on him. After sliding from one turnbuckle to the next Jericho catches Flair off guard, pulls his legs from under him, and executes the Walls of Jericho. Flair taps in a matter of seconds. Jericho laughs as he leaves the ring, saying how he fooled Flair and pointing to his temples implying he outsmarted him. Who could blame him? Rosey and Jamal vs. Billy and ChuckThird match of the night is the long awaited Tag Team match between Rosey and Jamal from Raw and Billy and Chuck from Smackdown. Just so everyone remembers, the stipulation of this match is, if the Raw team wins Stephanie has to perform "Hot Lesbian Action" in the ring, and if the Smackdown team wins Bischoff has to kiss Stephanie's ass in the ring. I just want to note to everyone, that this is Stephanie McMahon we are talking about. We KNOW she will never perform anything having to do with the loss of much clothing. The only incident I have seen was when Austin(who?) removed her shirt, exposing her bra. But wait a minute, if she won't remove that much clothing, that means that both of the stipulations are null. If Bischoff has to kiss her ass then she needs to expose her ass. Thats enough to please the crowd right there, and Stephanie can't let that happen. So, either way, we know the ending of this match will probably not be the topless+ Stephanie everyone is hoping for. So onto the match. R+J try to perform their gorrila press throw samoan drop thing. Billy counters the move by giving one of the two a famouser just before the samoan drop hits. It buys Billy and Chuck more time. Chuck is in the ring and brings one of the big men done with a super kick. Ah yes, that was Rosey. Jamal then comes in and plows Chuck with a super kick of his own. Rosey and returns to his feet and they execute the Super Samoan drop thing one last time on Chuck, winning the match. "Hot Lesbian Action" for Stephanie. Triple H vs. Rob Van Dam (World Heavyweight Championship Match)Late in the match Triple H pulls out a sledgehammer. RVD has basically been owning this match excluding a few powerful blows by Triple H. RVD spin kicks the Sledgehammer into HHH. I think at this time HHH is just begging for RVD to let him breathe for a moment. RVD has kept the pace of this match moving. The referee is knocked out with both competitors on the mat. Flair comes down to the ring, grabbing the sledgehammer, looking at HHH. PLease Note:Earlier in the show HHH trash talked RVD and Flair in a backstage vignette. Flair looks at HHH for a good 30 seconds, HHH pleading for him to not whail him with the hammer. Then, Flair turns and bullseyes RVD right in the ribs. Triple H's eyes open wide looking at Flair. He turns to RVD, executes the Pedigree, winning the match. Flair hands the belt to Triple H. BWAHAHAHA! Triple H is the Game. Molly vs. Trish Stratus (Womens Championship Match)This is your basic Molly versus Trish match. Trish pulls a reversal into her signature bulldog for the win. Trish is the new champion. I love Trish. Chris Benoit vs. Kurt AngleThis match was very technical. The crowd was very into it, and they applauded respectfully as each competitor performed skillfully, not just through power. It was a huge back in forth through submissions. At one point they had their submissions in at the same time. Angle was in the Crippler, then grabbed Benoit's foot and performed a slightly modified Ankle Lock. To be honest with you I can't remember who won this match. o_O I believe it was Benoit. The last thing I remember is Angle flat on the mat with Benoit doing the diving headbutt. The match was so even all the way through I can't even guess who won. Sorry folks. The Stipulation - Stephanie and HLAWell, this is the moment everyone wanted to see. Bischoff came to the ring with two good looking women, that he claimed were lesbians. I bet they go both ways. =D Stephanie comes out and to the ring. The two girls start to feel Steph a bit, then begin to remove her clthing, starting with her Jacket. Once the Jacket is removed they move in to, as far as I can see, kiss Steph on the lips and neck. Bischoff gives them they cease over the mic. "I changed my mind." He explains how Steph said she may enjoy this. Then says he wants to enjoy this, not have Steph enjoy it. So he brings out this huge woman that he claims was begging all last night to have HLA with Steph. Well, once she gets to the ring and starts to do some body language, Steph leaps to her and starts to kiss her. She was touching her ass and everything. Bischoff is screaming "What the Hell?!?!" and all that good stuff. The woman does a 180 and super kicks Bischoff in the throat. Thats right, its Rikishi wearing the same kind of make up Bischoff was wearing on smackdown that one night of the supposed wedding. After the kick, Rikishi gives Bischoff a butt bump in the corner, followed by one long and slightly more then normally nasty stink face. Like I said, Steph will never do anything yummy on camera. Atleast Rikishi got to kiss her. Undertaker vs. Brock LesnarI hope I spelled his name right. ANYWAY, this match was a giant rip off in a sense. The referee was knocked down twice. By the way, the ref was the young Hebner, I think. Well, after the two knock downs the two competitors were in a fist brawl in the corner. The ref was trying to break them up when all of a sudden Brock starts trash talking the ref, while also grabbing him by the throat, I might add. Once again, the ref goes to the mat. As soon as he awakens he sounds for the bell. Thats right people, a lame DQ to end this match. I personally wanted to see Undertaker kill Brock, but that will come later. Atleast we know this, the WWE wants Brock to have the title and they still don't let the Undertaker lose. He isn't a phenom anymore.. he CAN lose people. If Undertaker wasn't going to win I wanted to see Brock destroy him. Cause that would leave only one heavyweight capable of taking out Brock. And thats The Game, TRIPLE H! Ah well. After the match, Undertaker threw Brock through the giant Unforgiven sign. I think it was made out of wood. It was a nice touch. The King of the Ring, Angle vs. Shane plexiglass thing was better. Well, that finishes off this ppv. Hopefully next time I can actually get people to come read this, and I can do a live move by move review. I hope so. Have fun people, and don't forget to check back here next time for a review on Raw and Smackdown. -RigeTony 9/23/2K2 Click Me --->Back To Main<---Click Me |
