As rain covers my cheeks with tears of pain; the sun dries out on salvaging us. My body dissents, yet I renounce all gain; while, without you, blood corrodes to pus. Blurry gazed I glare through your windowpane; for unlike you, my heart's still up there: lost in bygone love; scared it can't bear this frost a thousand winters, my heart's bane. As I recall our dear times, my breath's to rush and whisper three words, for none to share; gone without you, to glance, to smile, to blush; to notice how much I really care. I expire and turn away, for none to see, for, now, your felicity lies without me. |
