On Saturday June 9th, 2001 I had the good fortune to be invited to spend part of the day at the Ridley Motorcycle factory where I met with Ridley President, Clay Ridley and Ridley Vice President, Jay Ridley. I also met Factory Technician John Ridley and his twin brother Andy. Next we went on to tour the factory.

Shortly after we began the tour we were also visited by the local news crew from CBS affiliate KWTV Channel 9 in Oklahoma City. They asked if they could do a news story for the 6:00 PM evening news. Reporter Amy McCree interviewed Clay and Jay for the evening news while the camera man took several background pictures for the event (pictures below).

Later, the same day, the Ridley crew (dare I say) *invaded* a local Vespa motor scooter rally in nearby Bethany, Oklahoma. While there were dozens and dozens of Vespa scooters the real attention came when the Ridleys were parked under a big shade tree. People came from all over the event to ask questions and to sit on the bikes and ask questions and get their picture taken and did I mention they all had questions (pictures below).
