The first game was lead entirely by Raiders until the last question when Fourplay made our move and took the game 31-30.
Game 2 was a reverse of game 1 with FourPlay holding the lead the entire game

The Chronicles of Narnia brought the LOLS within 1 - 10-9. German Cities gave us back our lead 16-12. Characters from Star Trek the Next Generation (wonders up 19-16) was followed by Words that Begin and End with E and a tie score of 22. Famous Drummers gave the LOLS the lead 27-23. Things Associated with Seinfeld was next and the LOLS took the game 34-26. Ends in "END" started off game two with a 5-4 lead for the LOLS. Neighborhoods in the City of Washington.. (No Suburbs, mind you) was next and the LOLS increase their lead to 10 - 5. German Mens Names was next ( to compliment the German cities cat from game one maybe??) and the LOLS took a comanding lead of 17-7. Starts with HAM was next and we managed to hold them at 21-12. Melissa Etheridge Songs narrowed their lead to 23-17 But Barney Miller put them at 29-19. Ends with A and Begins with A ended it for us 32-22.

The first game was a pretty close Sixers win, the 2nd game was 5-3 Rockers after the 1st round but the Rockers rolled on a double point 4 letter girl's names cat and jumped ahead 23-5!! For those of you playing along at home that means the Rocks got 9 right on a double point cat, yikes! The Sixers plugged away and made it rather closer at the end than it really was, the game was really over after that d.p. round. Game 3 the Sixers finally wore the Rockers down because of superior numbers, we had a great turnout out and in the end that was the difference. Congrats to cragio on being MVP! |
