Well, we started out strong...a 14-2 lead on a double point Katharine Hepburn ("Ah, the callolillies are in bloom!") but the Raiders pecked their way through numerous cats to finally come out on top 30-33. 

We never had a shot the second game.  The first round was 3-5 (record labels) but that was as close as she came.  Raiders won 22-30 after demonstrating knowledge of hip hop groups. Congrats Raiders...and focus Rockers!  Let's show 'em what a true Underdog can do!!!

OMG what a game. what a season. we had some tough categories and it was never over until the end. neither game was a true runaway. raiders you did a great job. rockers, u were very formidable opponents. we are a very proud team and dedicate this win to virginpet our honorary captain for life. we could've never done it without her.

I don't really know what to say here. The first game went as I figured. I was glad that the score was that close.

The second game was pretty close until a 2x round threw the game into the win column for the Rocks.

The Rockers took an early lead in the third game but the Rats took the lead in the next two cats. The game found itself tied at 20/20 and the tension mounted. The next round saw yet another tie at 25 all and we all saw ev's fingernails go the way of the DoDo bird. I think we all were on the edge of our seats and our keyboards as the last round approached. The final round played out and the Rocks earned a 2 point victory.

Our congrats to the Rats on a great season and a first place season finish. You guys played a fantastic game.

I'll tell you what... if I didn't have fun with the funnest team of the century, the loss of the game would've meant a wasted night.  But I laughed, I nirvana'd, and served up those metamucil shots.

(report)  This was a real nail biter match.  Wonders had the lead lots of times, but raiders clung on and managed to win.  Special recognition goes to our captain, who lugged his webtv unit out of town on a business trip and managed to show up and score some, even though he had stayed way too long at the hotel bar beforehand.  WTG Rick!!!!

It took three games for the Raiders to make it to the finals and we sure didn't make it easy for them!

The Raiders took games 1 and 3, the Wonders stole game 2 making the Raiders work for their win!

We had alot of tie scores and alot of close scores through the games and it made it fun as well as challenging!

We are just happy and proud to have made it thus far and we wish the ROCKS and the RAIDERS good luck in the finals!
