Game 1 started with Joan Crawford Movies where the Raiders took the lead with a score of 2-0. The next round, Hardware Store Supplies, double point round, is where the Rockers gave us a run for our money with a score of 12-10. The next 4 rounds, Things Assoiciated with Poland, Armor Tpyes and Components, Things a New Baby Needs and Bands of the 80's, were real nail-biters. The score was 29-23 when the double point round of Brands of Stereo Equipment sent the Raiders sailing for the finish line with a score of 35-25.

Game 2 started off with Healthful Foods where the Raiders once again came off the line hard and fast and took the lead with a score of 5-2. Throughout the next 4 rounds, Marsupials, Things Found on a Desk, Sesame Street Characters and Pizza Toppings, the Raiders maintained a strong lead with a score of 28-14. The 6th and final round was a double point round, Things Found in an Airport, where the Raiders took the checkered flag with a score of 38-20. You ever heard the saying "It doesn't matter whether you win or lose, it's how you played the game"? Well, Rockers, you played a great game! Better luck next time.

And congratulations to nobimbo_ for MVP, and to sisfox1, dizzie_1 and blackbird1966 for honorable mention! Great game all!

We fought hard and typed furiously, but the Raider ship was just too strong.

WTG Nite on the MVR nod, and WTG to all the Rockers - you guys always make a winning effort!

Nice game, Raiders...looking forward to our next match.

(MVP) DSHOPPY

Two close, well played games by both teams tonight, with the difference being that the Sixers had a better turnout....and also we had DSHOPPY, who turned out to be a closet Joan Crawford fan just when we needed one. Who knew? Congrats to the LOLers on well played games!

(game_1) Six Pack 33-18
(game_2) Six Pack 30-22

(roll_call) flame, Emma, law, Nacho, Slave, pituca^, Music, vrooom, Geno

(MVP) Music

It was one of those nights where real life wanted to just get in the way, but I managed to get the scores anyway. Six Pack played a great game, as did the LOL'ers. Joan Crawford seems to be the plague that just won't go away, that cat has gotten us in trouble the last two games!
