AAWHOOOOOOOOOOO...

The ROCK was out in force tonight and WOW did it ever show. Rocker Blue was showing all over the place.

The Raiders put up a fight but they were no match for the power of the ROCK. The match only took 10 rounds to play, 11, if you count the champ round.. of course we don't. It was great to see all the Rocks out to play tonight.

 AWHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

Good game Raiders!!!!!! GO TEAM ROCKER.

4 We started off game 1 as threeplay and lost 32-25.  Game 2 Fita, Chas, Cub joined us and we won after tying up the game at 30, 35-33.

Game 3 Sibil  joined us, but we couldnt take the lead from the LOLers & lost 30-25.

Game playing by all.

<sigh>When shall we win again?  Six-Pack's attendance has picked up lately, and hopefully we'll start churning out some victories.  But it's hard to get a winning streak started if you play the Rats.  We've only beaten them once in the last 2 seasons I think.  We did well early on in both games but just couldn't hold on for the win.  Here's the breakdown (so to speak):

GAME 1

Androgynous names:  6-3 SIX-PACK
Animal sports teams:  10-9
Computer languages:  15-14
Shades of red:  17-21
Rats Frogs & toads:  18-26
Beach thingies:  19-30 RATS

GAME 2

Kevin Bacon flicks:  5-4 SIX-PACK
Skiing stuff:  7-11 Rats
Masters of the Universe:  9-12
Spanish cities:  12-14
"Man" songs:  12-19 (ouch)
Pitch Black and the Seven Big Honkies (I mean Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs): 17-24
"Qu" words:  20-30 RATS

Hard to find fault in a loss to the Rats.  We done pretty good.  WTG Rats! We'll get ya next time!  And welcome back from vacation Darling Lily!!

What started out as a 4 on 3 match escalated into one heck of an exciting run against Fourplay tonight  within minutes of the first game, we had eight players on our side against "threeplay"..lol..so we pretty much dominated game one, though the score shows that Fourplay did not go down easy.

In the second game, Fourplay added a few members and whooped up on us in some of the geography cats, eventually resulting in a 30-30 tie, which ended with Fourplay's victory of 35-33.

Final game, it was 7 on 6, but pituca^ returned and dagny made it, giving us just the extra leverage to pull game three in our favor, along with our opening lead of 5-1.  Later, while we were ahead 23-15, Fourplay managed to shut us out 2 rounds straight and bring it to a near-tie of 23-22.  The following round, no points were scored, but on "driving songs" it started to pan out again.  Final score for game 3 was 30-25.  No champ rounds, but it still took us all of an hour and 10 minutes to get through this one.  Thanks for a great time Fourplay.
