(teams) 7 vs 2 (Game1) 33-11 (Game2) 30-14 (MVP) Nedi-Rader-Molly (Present) badpill, Liz, Maltvinegar, Nedipooh, Molly, Radercat, Seahawk (Commentary) --------------- game one was a washout started out with Flora/fauna bands which made the game 18-0 (double points round) and we tried to catch up but couldn't. game ended 33-11 Game two started out a little better at one point we were tied 10-10 but then came the things associated with Maryland (boy for a little state they sure have enough stuff) which brought the score to 19-10 then came beatnick generation 24-12 finishing the game off at 30-14--they played great even without having cy there for the 1st round of play. --------------- (reporter) Badpill |
| 3 | third rock v raiders - monday game 1 - 38-18 rock game 2 - 32-17 rock who was there: krusty, summoner, ysatis, niterocker, wolfrocker, baggirl, sketchems, madbison, queequeg and hope mvr - summoner, krusty, wolf, hope (a 4 way tie) the rocks sent the raiders sailing during the season opener. the first game was actually closer that the scores reflect, and the raiders had an 8-7 edge after the second round. then the rocks came back to take a 14-10 lead in the MARY cat (thanks guys) and held on through the game, including a sweep of Christmas songs (we study Summ's holiday pages!) the avalanche hit during the second game...we opened with a 8-2 lead in marvel comics and never let go. i think the multiple mvr reflects how well everyone did....there really was no standout. aaahhhwwwooo rocks - that's the way to start a season (uh huh uh huh?) |

(Commentary) --------------- Fun and excitement was had by all in this the first game of the sumer season! The Rats started out very outnumbered by Fourplay. By the second game, Ev, Sinsear, Syd and Glitzee joined us and the rest was history. Again the Rats prove how very cultured they are by sweeping the 20th century composers category. The first game flew by with the Wonders leading all the way. Game two was led by the sexy Packers right up to the end when the Wonders surged ahead and took game 2. Chinese provinces did us in. | 7 | 7 vs. 2 33-11 LOLers ABW, cyburgh, emma, Jana, Madmartigan7, Musicluvr, Sapphirem & TaggersLOL MVP - Madmartigan7 I arrived 10 minutes late and the LOLers had a 19-3 lead - WTG team! I heard we did well on a double point cat right off the bat. Game 2 was close and was tied after 3 cats. The LOLers swept the Maryland cat and went on for the first win of the season. WOOHOO! Madmartigan was typing like a "mad"man and was our first MVP of the season - congrats mad! ...and was that snoring I heard coming from June's? Dave |
