Team 1 Game Notes
(MVP) TbearJ (players) The Few...The proud...The Raiders. (Comments) Our Sails were damaged this morning in a Rock Storm! We Tried our best though! Wtg to the whole Raider team for showing up on a saturday morning to brave the melee of Rockers! It was a see-saw battle at times, but the Rockers were just too tough for us! TbearJ gets MVP. Team 3 Game Notes
(MVP) Hope & Ridaddict (players) Queequeg, Hope, Ridaddict, Summoner, Kru_sty, Sketchem, Wolfrocker, Niterocker (Comments) --- You can always bet that when the Rocks and the Raiders meet there will be one heck of a game. Today was no exception. Heart pounding and nerve racking are the only things that can describe it. Game 1. First cat Bot throws out is King books.. Raiders kicked butt there and took a 9-2 lead. Next up was dictionary abrevations, Rockers closed the gap a bit but the Raiders still lead 12-8. Next cat brought the score to 16-11 in favor of the Raiders. We ROCKed the Hollywood legends cat and took the lead at 19-18. We were next hit with the "blues" and took a 25-22 lead. We needed French lessons for the next cat.. ROCKs take a 29-28 lead into last round. Drew Barrymore finish the game for us (I should catch a few more of her movies) ROCKers win 36-31. Game two. It started out the same as the first with the Raiders taking an early lead in the Vampire Chronicles cat, score was 6-4. Next was terriers, Raiders kept the lead at 9-6. It looked like we had it when groups of birds came up and the Raiders plundered all over it with the scoring ending 16-9 Raiders. We had a BIG comeback on the "words with a Z" cat, score, end of the round was 18-17 Raiders. Tense does not begin to descibe it when Disney rides come up and the score is TIED at 22. A double point words with "box" would decide the game. A ROCKer avalanche decided it (some say we need put in a box). Final score 38-26 Rockers. Congrats to the Raiders for a well played and exciting game. We look forward to our next one. Til then ROCK ON!!! --- (reporter) NiteWriter_

(MVP) lauren, corwin, butterbby & wattle Present for the Rats were me, butterbby, corwin, and wattlerat. ALL of us who bothered to show up were the mvp's for this game. By winning this spot, we got a place in the play-offs. We proved (again) that attendance is the reason we win and that lack of attendance is the reason we lose. (MVP) Ski-Dude (players) --- Alanah1, CrYpT9mmCT, Dewboy, RSabrewulf, Surfie, Trixieanne, Ski-Dude --- (Comments) Great games!!! Especially for an early Saturday match. The Lol'ers had us on the ropes big-time the 1st game, all the way until a double-point Gem cat allowed us to slip by for a surprise win. The 2nd game was even the whole way, the differential coming in the next to last cat Aircraft Carriers.... our sailors prevailed (and our girls who follow the fleet, as it were, lol). We had major fun and counted ourselves lucky to beat the LOL'ers... thx guys for the games! (reporter) ski

(MVP) Madmartigan7 (players) --- ABW99, Dagny, Skitter, Mad and FlaminJune --- (Comments) --- It was really close both games. The LOLers started Game 1 out right, but a double-point cat of Precious Gems snuck them past us. Game 2 was neck and neck until the end. The Saturday sleep-ins are going to kill us. MVP: Syzygy^ FOURplay won both games 33-12 & 37-7. We know the feeling of playing outnumbered, & the Wonders hung in there. It's always fun playing them, but I did miss my friend Libra & I'm sure the wonders did too! Present: Ana, Fita, Froggy, K, Syzygy, Tib, Lady, Whoop, Mr Lupner, Ms_bone, & Vi.
