These pictures are of Spring creek Buck owned by Jerry Lane but kept and handled day to day by Clint .Buck hunted both day and night. During the day he hunted medium range, but went as far as needed to tree. He was mostly a stand back tree dog.on squirrel. This was helpful for timbering squirrels. He handled well and would retieve any squirrels shot. At night his range was a little deeper and tree style tighter.
We lost Buck this fall , as he neared his 13th birthday.I will miss him not only for his pup training ability and the pups he threw, but for those short 1 or 2 hour hunts when you only wanted to take one dog.
Bucks blood line is still heavy here a Ridgerunner kennels. We have two direct females from him. We cant replace him, but with some luck maybe we can keep breeding some of his traits in our pups.
