Funco Regatta
Our trip to Glamis CA also know as the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area, was a great trip with no problems for us. Our 11 hour drives, each way, went smoothly and the 70 to 80 degree weather was perfect. They had some strong winds over the Holloween weekend that made the dunes perfectly smooth. My wife and I rode our quads tell our butts got sore and our hands blistered. We burned 35 gallons of gas though our stock bore bikes.

Our friends have Funco sand cars and they were there for the 6th annual Funco Regatta. They had a dinner with a raffle, group rides and an all-around good time. These cars have 300-450 hp out of 4 cylinder turbo charged engines that ride on air bags, controled by King shocks. These cars are so fast that quads can not keep up, and I tried.
