Club Profile

The Rotary Club of Valenzuela East was born in the later part of 1984. The Rotary Club of Valenzuela sponsored it. The framework of the organization was completed in the early part of 1985, after which the club was formally organized. The club was chartered on March 25, 1985 with the assigned club no. 22553.
Since then, the club has been actively participating in the District as well as club level community projects. The club has been giving assistance to the indigents and has contributed educational materials, including sets of encyclopedia, computers and other school paraphernalia to some public schools in Valenzuela. To help the community, the club has contributed drinking fountains and sewing machines. All these, besides conducting medial and dental missions in the depressed areas of Valenzuela.
The club members meet every Thursdays at 7:00 PM at North Villa Restaurant where each one received their copy of the club bulletin "Interchange".
The club is the proud sponsor of the successful Rotary Club of Metro Valenzuela and has signed sisterhood agreement with the Rotary Club of Taiwan last August 26, 1999 to be its sister club.
