Club Profile
- April 8, 2000 (Saturday) 1st Orientation Meeting - Attended by 18 prospective charter members; agreed that weekly meetings be held every Wednesday at 8:00 PM, but since the Marikina Rotary Youth Center would still be unavailable, that meetings in the meantime be held every Monday evening.
- April 17, 2000 (Monday) 2nd Orientation Meeting - at Marikina Rotary Youth Center with PP Joerol Escaner as guest speaker (Why I Joined Rotary), with only 7 prospective charter members attending.
- April 24, 2000 (Monday) 3rd Orientation Meeting - again at Marikina Rotary Youth Center with 18 prospective Rotarians attending; PP Tonipi Paraungao of RC Marikina North talked on standard club constitution and by-laws.
- May 9, 2000 - Attainment of provisional status upon approval of extension survey with club having 29 charter members (18 males and 11 females).
- May 10, 2000 - Organizational Meeting with 21 prospective charter members attending; election of provisional club officers with CP Patrick Tanco elected as provisional Club President
- May 13, 2000 (8:00 AM) - 1st meeting of the new Board of Directors at Riverbend Hotel Coffee Shop.
- May 15, 2000 - Filing of application of membership to Rotary International; payment of required charter fee of US$ 435.00.
- May 24, 2000 - Official admission of RC Metro Marikina to Rotary International.
- June 27, 2000 (7:00 PM) - Charter Presentation Ceremonies at Kapitan Moy, Marikina City.
