Club Profile
It was during the term of DG Ruben Roxas when whispers of forming a new club in Mandaluyong were heard. DGSR Ric Torres together with Pres. Rudy Samson, PP Kishu Sehwani, all from RC Mandaluyong, took the first step in recruiting and screening socio-civic leaders in order to form a second club in Mandaluyong.
The formal recognition and organization of the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong West took place on May 25, 1975. Delmy Celino was elected Charter President. He was inducted together with the other officers at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club on June 21, 1975.
Rich Inocentes succeeded Delmy, then Emil Cuyugan, the third president, who hold the unbeatable record of 17 consecutive years 100% home club attendance. The youthful Ray Francisco was the fourth president. He initiated the hosting of a District Conference by the club. Jimmy Soler became the fifth president. He undertook the project of setting up a permanent secretariat.
RY 1982-83 saw Jerry Jarin at the helm of the club. During that RY, the club hosted the District Assembly. Ben Aycardo was the ninth president. He implemented "Operation Tule" in the adopted Barangay Burol. RY 1984-85 was a milestone for the club. The able leadership of Pres. Ofring Consolacion, the first extension club, RC Mandaluyong Central was organized. The Interact Club of Rizal Technologican College was likewise organized. A sisterhood pact with the Rotary Club of Dae, Jean, Korea was sealed.
The monumental achievements of his predecessors served as a challenge for Ben Bailon who set his mind in strengthening the club through membership development. RY 1987-88 under the leadership of Pres San Juan, the club received a number of "Best Club Awards". The "Significant Achievement Award" for its Polio Plus campaign made the club an example in the District. Also fund raising projects enabled the club to place PhP 35,000.00 in the RCMW Foundation. Also, during the year, RVC in Burol and Old Za�iga were organized.
- RY 1988-1989 - P Mel Desembrana - Chess Tournament at the Municipal Jail & Rotaract Club of Addition Hills.
- RY 1989-1990 - P Ed Flores - Two more RVCs were organized, RVC Addition Hills & RVC Hulo
- RY 1990-1991 - P Mike Leh - He received the "Rotarian of the Year Award", hosted Midyear Review and another RVC in Barangay Barangka was established.
- RY 1991-1992 - P Paul Ponciano - The Sanctuary, a half way house project for mental patients was started.
- RY 1992-1993 - P Embet Rodriguez - Search for "Outstanding Public Servant" was launched. A campaign for restraint and discipline among motorists and pedestrians, dubbed as "Disiplina sa Kalsada" was conducted. This project was registered with WCS.
- RY 1993-1994 - P Roger Manaog, continue his predecessors' projects.
- RY 1994-1995 - P Reggie Dela Paz, hosted the District Livelihood Forum. The club adopted the Mandaluyong Medical Center.
- RY 1995-1996 - P Pete Peteza, reorganized the Rotaract and Interact Clubs in a very active youth groups and partners-in-service. The first lady Rotarian was inducted into membership of the club.
- RY 1996-1997 - P Gene Ramos, puts emphasis on Club Service. Membership rose from 22 to 30. Fund raising was undertaken - movie premier. Proceeds will finance community projects.
- RY 1997-1998 - P Arnold Ozaeta, again the club hosted the District Assembly held in Baguio City.
- RY 1998-1999 - P Bert Fadullon, Tree planting, donation of school supplies and storybooks to a Day Care Center, gift giving and medical missions were among his many projects.

- RY 2000-2001 - P Edith Rivera
- RY 2001-2002 - P Freddie Santos
