Club Profile

Rotary Club of Caloocan Silangan was officially recognized by Rotary International on November 20, 1996. It is the 7th rotary club of Kalookan zone under District 3800, Philippines and shares with its mother club, RC Grace Park, the entire Caloocan City as its territory.
The idea of creating the club came about when Rotarians Boy Reyes and Ed Morada, who were already extending their services for free to friends and associates, agreed to provide holistic services to the community as well. Both challenged more friends and all came together for a breakfast fellowship at Max's Restaurant at the QC Memorial Circle, Quezon City on June 8, 1996. It was there that the Rotary Club of Caloocan Silangan, a no smoking - no drinking, came into existence and the first set of officers soon elected. RC Caloocan Silangan has since been meeting regularly at the same place every Saturdays from 8:00 to 10:00 AM under the guidance and close supervisions of the club's ninong, ADS Misael G. Vera, Jr., and DG Lina A. Aurelio. PPs Fai Sanchez, Romeo P. Cabungcal, Rudy Alonzo, Ferdi Fuentes, Virgilio S. David, Dado Mendoza often visited us either to lecture or answer and enlighten members on various Rotary aspects. The first induction of officers was on December 28, 1996 by then DG Lina A. Aurelio, together with the club's ninong ADS Misael G. Vera, Jr..
To date, the Rotary Club of Caloocan Silangan has had six (6) energetic and dedicated presidents.
All RCCS members continue to be very supportive of and actively participate in District, Zone and club activities.
