The Rotary Club of Antipolo Centro was chartered on December 18, 1995 by Rotary International and on the same date became a member of District 3800. Under the sponsorship of Rotary Club of East Rizal, twenty-eight (28) civic-minded citizens have banded together and started pooling their resources, professional skills and talent to render service to the less privileged communities of Antipolo in the name of Rotary. The club's first induction of officers and members and charter presentation was held on March 20, 1996 at the Eduardo's Restaurant, Circumferential Road, Antipolo City. In less than 4 months of its existence, the club has distinguished itself in the following fields of endeavor: environmental protection, crusade against child and drug abuse, vocational skills training, promotion of culture and arts, youth leadership development, medical assistance, privacy and preventive health care and other relevant community service projects.
