Brochure Directions:

 

·        Using construction paper or a computer program, creates a tri-fold brochure about your birthstone.  Include information about each heading of the above table to make your BIRTHSTONE BROCHURE interesting and complete.

 

 

·        Click here for directions on creating a brochure in Microsoft Word or click here to download a brochure template that you may follow to create a computerized print out. You may also use any other available brochure program.

 

 

 

·        Add pictures (copied or hand-drawn) of your mineral gemstone and a MAP labeling the area(s) of the world where your gemstone can be found.

 

 

·        BE PREPARED TO PRESENT THIS INFORMATION TO THE CLASS AND POST THE LOCATION (s) ON OUR CLASSROOM WORLD MAP.

 

 

·        Be creative… Add many visuals to help make your brochure stand out.  As always, check your spelling, grammar usage, and sentence structure! 

 

·        Follow the Quality of Work Policy!

 

·        Oral Presentation of Brochure will highlight all of the information found.

 

 

 

GRADING:  Refer to the rubric-handout for grading procedure.

Completed brochure is worth 1 Test Grade and 3 Homework Grades.
