Rico and Claudine are back
in each others arms
They were a teen pair in Flames the Movie. He was constantly protecting her from shadowy characters in Mula Sa Puso. They went separate ways with different movies for some two years. Now the long wait is over. Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto star in a new romantic treat from Star Cinema in Got 2 Believe.
Working together again, Claudine and Rico admit that their togetherness has become more mature and refreshing. "My role Toni is not only a breakaway from drama that people see me often in. The fact na kasama ko si Rico dito, hindi lang excitement ang pakiramdam ko kundi, parang renewed ang pairing namin(laughs). Colorful ang movie, ang bawat scenes may kilig plus comedy, tapos, makikita ng mga tao kung papano maging partners ang dalawang tao who don't really want to have anything to do with each other. It's like there's magic sa kulitan at inisan at saka asaran nila, but they're together," Claudine says.
What's more, Rico adds that "we have so much confidence with each other in this movie, things are relaxed, we're serious during shooting but at the same time we're like playing with our roles. Magaan kasi ang pelikula, plus of course nandun na iyung magkasama kami. Claudine and I have a beautiful closeness naman kasi. That's how I'd describe our closeness now. We remain very close and we have many things in common. Doing Got 2 Believe with her is like going back to the old times pero this time refreshed, parang nanliligaw ako ulit (laughs)."
