                          At 27,Rico had achieved much more than many of his peers. He had an impressive portfolio by industry standards. Movies, commercials and television shows that made him a household name and a heartthrob. With that smile and those dimples, who wouldn't be charmed?
                         He was a successful entrepreneur, with restaurants and pearl shakes outlets in Manila and other parts of the country. He was also one of the few showbiz people who graduated from college, and from the De La Salle University no less. He knew what he wanted; he set his priorities and he achieved all of them without sacrificing other people's feelings and without taking advantage of anyone.
                         Rico Yan lived a full life but it was too short. He wore many hats which sometimes made his public wonder if they all fit. He was a dreamer and do-gooder. He might seem like a contradiction but by the way he had touched many people in the entertainment industry and how they talked about him almost superlative terms, he impressed them most of the time as more than a co-worker but as a confidant.
