Ultraman's Weapons

Specium Ray
SUPESHIUMU KOHSEN

Ultraman's primary weapon. A white laser emitted from his right hand, as you can see, with hands crossed in a plus sign. A signature pose recognized by any Ultra fan. Minus energy from his vertical right hand, and positive energy from his horizontal left hand. Specium is said to be found in high quantities on Mars.

"Ultra Slash"
URUTORA SURASSHU or YATSUZAKI KOHRIN

The spinning circular sawblade of light that dices up enemies or splits them cleanly in half.

Ultra Attack Ray
URUTORA ATAKKU KOHSEN

More powerful than the Specium Ray. All of his body's energy spirals around his right arm and out his closed fist. Used once only against Keronia in episode 31.

Ultra Air-Catch
URUTORA EAKYATCHI

Two thin white lasers that Ultraman uses to telekinetically raise up and pause motionless. He can then do things like use his Ultra Slash to cut the helpless beast into pieces like he did to Red King II in episode 25. Neat trick, but decidedly unfair in my book.

Slash Ray
SURASSHU KOHSEN

Cutter beam fired mid-air against Mephilas-seijin in episode 33.

Catch Ring
KYATCHI RINGU

Energy rings that Ultraman uses while spinning his entire body around in circles, to restrain opponents. Not strong enough to hold Zetton in episode 39.

Ultra Water Stream
URUTORA SUI-RYUH

Water generated from Ultraman's hands. Used to douse flames at an oil refinery in episode 13.

Teleportation
TEREPOHTEHSHON

Can instantly beam himself from one part of the universe to another. Used in episode 16 against Baltan on 2 fronts (on Earth and planet R).

Rebound Ray
RIBAUNDO KOHSEN

A rectangular beam barrier. (Source(s): [UHDH], p. 71).

See-Through Ray
TOHSHI KOHSEN

Laser from his eyes that can see invisible objects. (Source(s): [UHDH], p. 73).

Mega-Specium Ray
MEGA-SUPESHIUMU KOHSEN

Powered's ultimate laser weapon, fired from the Powered Stablizers on both arms in a plus-style manner. The original, non-mega Specium Ray belongs to the original Ultraman, of course. Powered's version is five times more powerful. (Source(s): [TVM, June 2001], p. 18; [HSW], p. 136 and 139).

Powered Slash
PAWAHDO SURASSHU

A circular-sawblade energy ring that slashes through monsters. Similar to the original Ultraman's Ultra Slash. (Source(s): [TVM, June 2001], p. 18; [HSW], p. 137 and 139).

Energy Knuckle
ENAJIH NAKKURU

White energy blast from the hand. Used against Dada in episode 8 to prevent the creature from teleporting. (Source(s): [UGg], p. 065; [HSW], p. 139).
