THOUGHTS OF LIFE
-
Dream What you want to dream. Go where you want to go. Be
what you want to be because you have only one life and one chance
to do all the things you want in life. A careless word may kindle strife.
A cruel word may wreck a life. A timely word may level stress. A
loving word may heal and bless.
- May you have enough hapiness to make you sweet, enough
trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human,
enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't
necessarily have the best everything. They just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.
- Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion, and the
romance in a relationship and find out that you still care for that
person. The sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means
a lot to be and you just have to let go. It hurts to love someone and
not to be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone
and never find the courage to let the person know how you feel.
- If you find yourself in love with someone who doens't love
you, be gentle with yourself. There's nothing wrong with you. Love
didn't choose to rest in the other person heart. If you find
someone else in love with you and you don't love him/her, feel
honored that love came and called at your door, but gently refuse
the gift you cannot return. Do not take advantage, do not cause
pain. How you deal with love is how you deal with yourself, and all
our hearts feel the same pain and joys, even if our lives and
ways are different, when love chooses to leave, do not reclaim it,
let it go. There is a reason and meaning. You will know in time.
Maybe God wants to meet a few wrong people before meeting the
right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will
know how to be grateful for that gift.
- Remember that you don't choose love. Love chooses you.
All you can do accept itfor all its mystery when it come to your
life. Feel the way it fills you to overflowing, then reach out and give
it away. Give it back to the person who brought it to you. Give it to
others who are poor in spirit. Give it to the world around you in any
way you can. There is where many lovers go wrong. Having been
so long without love, they understand love only as need. They see
their hearts as empty places that will be filled by loved, and they
begin to look at love as something that flows to them rather than
from them. The first blush of new love is filled to but as their love
cools, they revert to seeing their love as need. They cease to be
someone who generates love and instead become someone who
seeks love. They forget the secret of love is that it is a gift, and
that it can be made to grow only by giving it away. Remember
this, and keep it to your heart.
- Love has it's own time, it's own season, and it's own reason for
coming and going. You cannot bribe it or coerce it, or reason with it.
You can only embrace it when it arrives and give it away when it
comes to you. But if it chooses to leave from your heart or from the
heart of your lover, there is nothing you can do and there is nothing
you should do. Love has always been and always will be a mystery.
Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life.
- When one door of happiness closes, another opens but often
we have look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one
that has been opened for us.
- It's true that we don't know we've got until we loose it but it is
also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
- Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who
have searched and those who have tried. For only they can
appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.
- The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly
themselves, and not to twist them with our own image. Otherwise, we
love only the reflection of ourselves that we find in them. Giving all
your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back. Don't
expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their hearts but if it
doesn't be content it grew in yours, there are things you'd love to
hear them from. But don't be so deaf as not to hear it from the one
who says it from his heart. Never say good-bye if it is still want to try
never give up if you still fell you can go on. Never say you don't love
that person anymore you can't let go.
- Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a
tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past,
you can't go on well in life until you let go your past failures and
heartaches. Love comes to those who still hope although they'd
been betrayed, to those who still need to love, although they have
been hurt before, and those who have the courage and faith to build
trust again.
