It's been nothing but raining news in regards to the "Withnail for Waterford" fundraising event. I will present to you the material as it is given to me. Below is a press release from the Richard E. Grant Fan site that's come straight from the top. Any information you might have about this spectacular, upcoming event can be answered by my new best friend Dominique. Here's the release.

Greetings all and thank you sooo much for your patience. Richard E. Grant, after much hair pulling, has finally secured somewhere to purchase tickets from for the "Withnail for Waterford" fundraising event.

To refresh your memory. The event itself is less than a month away. Monday night, 7th of February. I've updated the Withnail for Waterford site to include the fantastic list of memorabilia up for auction, as well as a direct link to the ticket page.

The three tiered ticket prices are £100 (vip), £50 (premium) and £25 (standard). There are 800 in total, all tickets get you the Q&A session with the cast, but only the £100 ticket gets you into the star-studded celebrity party afterwards.

Here's clarification of what the tickets get you. For £25 or £50, you get the movie, the Q&A session, the auction, you can bring your camera, get an autograph. For £100, you get all that, PLUS free booze, a goodybag and after show party.

The donations address should be changed to: 'Waterford School Trust' 13 College Lane, London NW5 1BJ ENGLAND.

The items up for auction are all on the Withnail for Waterford site, but great news. You can make a bid even if you can't attend the event. Just email your name, email address, the item you're bidding for and the amount you're offering, to: [email protected] and your bid will be taken into account on the night!

More great news for those who can't attend, the Q&A session will most likely be videotaped, so it will hopefully be available to purchase, with funds going to the charity.

Apologies to those of you who've been trying to contact the Odeon for Withnail for Waterford tickets. It seems like there's a hold up with the ticket suppliers. The Odeon don't want to sell the tickets, just host the film, so there's a mad scramble to find an outlet to sell them to us all. I'll keep you posted as soon as Richard E. Grant lets me know how we can get them.
