| As you can probably tell, it happened in the dead of winter, Semi didn't see me coming over the hill and pulled a legal (here anyway) right on red. I missed the most of the damage by side swiping it perfectly (Luckily). The repairs were done by pulling the body behind the door (Uncle Bill,thanks), gutting and transplanting the wiring of a 90 ES door (other was shot, but harness was good for PL, PM), and a new trim strip ($55), all together about $500 compared to a $4500 Estimate by local Doug's Custom Paint and Body and Dick's Body Shop. |
