Origin: Miguel received his powers after subjecting himself to a process he created which alters animal DNA...After being slipped "Rapture", a deadly addictive drug by Tyler Stone, Miguel thought he could alter his own DNA to his pre-drugged status...Aaron Delgado, a hateful co-worker thwarted his plans by sabotaging the plan...The result was that Miguel was no longer human, in fact he was subjected to a Spider's.
