| This movie had its roots during an actual fishing trip. While on the boat, Matt Thomas and Chris saw a group of women running around the lake. Someone uttered the line "I'm sorry ma'am, I done thought you was a bear!" Back at Matt's house, that one line became the basis for an entire script, which they wrote together with Emily's help. Quick costumes and props were gathered, and they went out to shoot. This was the first movie where the Wide Angle / Close-ups technique was used. Unfortunately, Matt's camera was on its last legs, and it died before the shoot could be completed, and right before Chris's scene. | ||||||||||||||
