-an epic movie which follows the life of a couple from 1940`s China to 1980`s. this movie is one of the best movies ive ever seen. it was brilliantly performed by actress Gong Li and actor Ge Yuo. the movie made me cry and laugh.

-ideas about the Chinese government and how China is struggling for the soul of a rising power. also about how the Communist Dynasty is ready to collapse. economic improvements and such since 1949. 1989 Tiananmen Square protest against government corruption. i believe that although the Communist Regime is responsible for the many setbacks and sufferings of the Chinese people, it is also responsible for the improvement of overall life for them. things such as health benefits, the equality of women were created. peasants are now able to buy refrigerators, motorcycles, and tvs that air mtv and bsb. never before has such a large portion of humanity been lifted from proverty.
