Obituary for Sara West Yarnall

Sara West Yarnall, age 86, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Chatwood, West Chester, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, in Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida., surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Robert J. Yarnall Sr., with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Turnersville, Gloucester County, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Philip J. and Ethel Garrigues West. She graduated from West Chester High School, class of 1938, and was employed by Wyeth Laboratories, retiring in 1982. Sara is survived by a son, Robert J. Yarnall Jr. and his wife, Leslie of Honey Brook; Penn., two daughters: Sandra Y. Snyder and her husband, Robert of Wilmington, Del., and Barbara Gail Wasson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Russell D. West of Aztec, N.M.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 2, at the Founds Funeral Home, West Chester, where family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery, West Goshen, Penn. |
