Daniel R. Yarnell

Daniel R. Yarnell, 61, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 19, 2006 in his home following, an extended illness. Born in Canton, Ohio on Jan. 3, 1945 to his parents, the late Walter and Doris Yarnell, he had been employed by Republic Steel for over 27 years. It was at work that Dan found and enjoyed the companionship of so many good friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Dawson. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Merrily Yarnell of the residence; son, Daniel Yarnell Jr. of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Erin Madenfort of Hartville, and Mick and Angela Madenfort of Uniontown; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Scott Herforth of New Town, Ohio, and Tammy Billman of South Dakota.   Also surviving are grandchildren, Kyle, Justin, Jay, Hannah, Tia, Amanda, Jamie, Mitchell, Mason, Jaret, Joel and Wil; three great-grandchildren; a very special brother and friend, Phil Yarnell (Pat); and a good brother-in-law, George Brink (Arletta).

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Reed Funeral Home, North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. NW, North Canton, OH. Burial will be at Mount Peace Cemetery of Hartville. Visitation for family and friends will be in the North Canton Chapel on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial Donations may be given to the Stark County Hospice of V.N.S., 845 - 8th. St. NE Ste. 1, Massillon, Ohio.
