My Ultimate Reconnection Project
Eleven years ago, I graduated from high school, and we all went our own separate ways. In the time between then and now, I didn't think that I'd ever be able to reconnect with any of my old classmates. But thanks to the miracle of MySpace, I've been able to get back in touch with at least 50 of them. For the most part, I'm thrilled to have them back, and I intend to keep them updated on my latest goings-on. As far as I know, most of them are still living in Chicago, and they're either married, having kids, or both. I'd like to have that someday, if only I could go back and take care of some unfinished business. For now, though, I'm focusing on my big reconnection, and for the most part, it's gone very well. While I wish I could come to our ten-year reunion last year (which turned out to be a huge success), I'm hoping to make it to the 15th reunion in 2012. Now, if Natasha could get a MySpace page of her own, it would be totally awesome! In fact, I'm thinking about asking her if she could build her profile, and then we'd be able to show them off to each other! I haven't been this happy since my so-called "MySpace marriage" began last year, but just looking at my old classmates' profiles puts a big smile on my face. And if I make it to the reunion, I'll be sure to tell them that they're the greatest friends I could've ever had. I miss each and every one of them, but I'm hoping they're doing just fine.
