Keeping it smooth, from Chicago to the world beyond!
Finally, We Get to Play Some Holiday Gigs!
After weeks of debilitating snowstorms that have hit the Chicago area, there's finally hope: My band and I will get to play what's left of the holiday schedule. We've updated each other on how the weather has affected us, and we'll be up and ready to go tonight. We're so excited that we can play those gigs because although we like the snow and ice, it can be downright irritating, especially in December. In the meantime, I've been hard at work in my home office, and spent most of my spare time visiting the MySpace pages of everyone I know, including my wife Rhanda and all of my North Carolina friends. In addition, I've also checked out Monica White's new MySpace page, which is a very interesting page in its own right. I'm still waiting for my cousin Natasha to set up her own MySpace page, so she can fill the void left by the deletion of my former friend in Charlotte, Teddy. He and I ended our friendship after seven years, but I've managed to recover rather quickly because of all the friends I have on my side. I'm looking forward to the new holiday gigs, which I'm sure will turn out fine. I'm about to put aside some practice time, so I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays, and may 2008 be a great year for everyone!
