Going Back to Chicago Tomorrow...
I had fun in Raleigh, and tomorrow I'm getting ready to leave. It's sad, but I'm also happy that I got the chance to take a break from my busy schedule just so I could spend some time with my family. My cousin's also going back to Greensboro so she can finish out the semester. Meanwhile, I'll be busy with my band, because we're rehearsing for our upcoming holiday gigs. Natasha already promised me that she would come to Chicago for Christmas, so I can't let her down. Since I'm in a forgiving mood, I'm extending an invitation to Dion and his boyfriend to spend Christmas with me as well. However, I'm not going to invite Teddy, nor am I coming back to Charlotte in the near future, because he's singlehandedly destroyed our once-beautiful friendship. I actually feel terrible for trying to be friends with his fellow students, and I can tell that they hate me. The truth is, they are not my type either, and friendwise, they're a far better fit for him than I'll ever be. The lesson I've learned here is that you cannot be friends with everyone, and that's why Teddy's friends said no to me. I have my own set of friends anyway, so it's all good. I'll continue to work on my anger management issues, because I realize that I still have a long way to go. Now that I'm going back north to Chicago, I feel excited about going home, but I'm also a little sad that I have to leave Raleigh. I wish I could stay a little longer, but the Windy City beckons, and I have to go back. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I hope I come back next year! I look forward to Natasha's visit to Chicago next month! 2007-11-25 04:40:06 GMT
