So What's a "MySpace Marriage," Anyway?
Ever since I joined MySpace, I've seen bulletin posts about a growing phenomenon on that site, called a MySpace marriage. If you don't have a MySpace profile, then you probably don't know what it is, so let me tell you the deal. It all starts with a MySpace proposal, in which you simply pick your favorite friend of the opposite sex and write out a proposal to that person. If he/she accepts, then you have it made, like me right now. I'm still giddy from the email I got from Rhanda, which started out with her saying "I do" because she knows I love her, even from a time zone away (I miss you too, and I can't wait to come back so that we can pick up where we left off!). In reality, I'm still single, but at least on MySpace, I am a happily married man. If I ever get back to Baltimore again, I will definitely make the first day back very special for both of us. I intend to make my MySpace marriage the best that it can possibly be. I'm already sending out comments to her profile, professing my undying love for her, and come Valentine's Day, I am really going to step up my game! If you have a MySpace marriage of your own, I want you to follow my example, and send out all the love that you can. It's just like a real marriage, but much, much better, since you have someone you really love, and you keep dreaming about being with them again. And that's how you have a MySpace marriage! Take it from someone who knows. 2007-08-24 11:41:33 GMT
