Tomorrow, I plan to drive back to Raleigh to see my cousin Natasha one last time before she goes off to college. I'll be very busy next week: On Sunday, we'll have a going-away party for Natasha, and I will assist in setting up decorations, as well as grilling. Natasha's friends will be at the party, and she's even hired a DJ to handle the music, so this should be fun. Then I'll drive to Greensboro to help set up her dorm. She's already excited about going to A&T (it's all about Aggie Pride!), and I don't blame her for a second. I plan to spend a few days in Greensboro, just to get a better idea of what it's like, because frankly, I've never been in that part of town before. If I'm lucky, I just might go back to Charlotte for a day or two, which is where my friend Teddy lives. Like Natasha, he's planning to start college, and he's very excited about going back. Granted, he's at least ten years older than Natasha, but age is nothing but a number, right? And another thing: Teddy's birthday is one week from today, and I intend to make his day just as special as he did mine. (Love the dancing rodents you sent to me on MySpace! I'll be sure to look for something to send to you.) Anyway, I want to wish both Teddy and Natasha the best of luck as they start their college lives, and I hope they make it to graduation! I'll pray for them both.
