After spending last week with my family in North Carolina, I'm back home in Chicago again! I got in late last night, after a stopover in Charlotte. I took a nice, leisurely stroll across Center City, and I took in the many sights, like Charlotte Bobcats Arena, the Square (where Trade and Tryon meet), and the many shops inside the plaza at the Square. I'm a little disappointed that I did not get to see my good friend Teddy, but hopefully, when I swing by again, I'll be able to spend some time with him. Sure, Charlotte's a nice city to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there, because my heart still belongs in Chicago, and you can't take that away from me! Same with Baltimore, where I lived for six years, but left because I missed my hometown badly. I've vowed that I'd return someday to resume some unfinished business. More on that later...
