All right, I admit it: I do have it bad for someone. The trouble is, she’s in Baltimore, and I’m stuck out here in Chicago. Not a day goes by that I don't think of Rhanda, no matter where I am or what I’m doing. Whether I’m driving around town in my car, working on my laptop, or relaxing at the piano, I always think of her. It’s impossible not to think about someone you’re deeply in love with, even if they’re a good distance away. Call me crazy, but that’s the way it is. I recently took a trip to North Carolina, and I’m going back there in a couple of weeks as I help my cousin Natasha move into her new home away from home. Hopefully, Natasha can email me on her progress as she starts a new chapter in her life as a freshman at NC A&T University. Enough about Natasha, though…Let me focus on the real subject at hand: Recently I received a message from Rhanda on MySpace, asking me when I’m coming back. So far, I’ve been busy with my music and my work, so I haven’t taken a lot of time off since I moved back to Chicago last year. I know, I hated the thought of leaving Baltimore, because I knew for sure that I had a very good thing going. I know that she misses the way I would rub her feet, and what I wouldn’t give to be able to do that again, if only when I visit from Chicago. I also have her daughter in my Top Friends list; in fact, they’re Numbers 2 and 3 on that list. I might try to make it back to Baltimore before the summer is over, hopefully when I leave North Carolina. But thanks to MySpace, I can stay connected to Rhanda, because I wouldn’t know how I’d stay connected without it. Oh, wait a minute. I already do, because we exchanged email addresses shortly before I left. I still love her so, and I can’t wait to see her one more time!
