I got a phone call from my favorite cousin in Raleigh, and she's coming out to Chicago this weekend. Natasha's planning to leave Raleigh on Friday and go back on Sunday, and she's planning to drive. Earlier, she told me that she's going to NC A&T University next year, and I couldn't be any prouder of her than I am now! She's planning to bring her flute with her so we could play some great music together. I've never had her actually play a song with me, so this is a good chance to do so. Anyway, we're hoping to spend as much time together as we possibly can before she goes off to Greensboro, and I already promised her that I'll come over and see her the next time I come through the Carolinas. We'll have a barbecue upon Natasha's arrival, and I'm planning to invite Walter and the other guys from the band, as well as their own friends. One of Walter's friends is a Cubs fan, and he gave him three tickets to the game on Saturday. And even though I'm not a Cubs fan, I'm still eager to go with Walter and Natasha. It'll be a great weekend for me, that's for sure. And before Natasha goes back, I would like to have her sit in with the band. And now I have to get prepared for Natasha's arrival, but it'll be a fun time for all of us. I hope she drives carefully on the way up here!
