How does Adam create and maintain such a superb physique? Here the man himself describes his techniques for developing a superior six-pack.
I still do the same as I have since I was 17. A half hour run each morning and a half an hour of sit-ups or press-ups, which I rotate each day.

To maintain my fitness, I have a routine. Every morning I'll do press-ups, sit-ups or pull-ups and then go running for half an hour. Even in the pouring rain I'm out there pounding away.
The trouble is that touring can make the running incredibly boring, because if I don't know the area I run in a straight line for 15 minutes and then turn round. It's much nicer to run around the woods and fields when I stay with my parents in the Cheshire countryside.
I've had the same routine for about five years. In the way that people do yoga to clear their mind, I exercise - because doing nothing but counting press-ups or running for an hour each day is a really good mind-clearing exercise.
I haven't missed a day for about two years. If I do, I get fidgety and bad tempered because I have all that excess energy inside. I'm like a volcano murmuring away in the corner. I feel agitated and out of place. But it isn't just about relaxation - I'm also forced to exercise because of a rugby accident I had when I was 17.

My exercise regime
I CAN'T abide gyms and using weights. I much prefer the idea of using your own body; it's more natural.
So I exercise at home in the mornings. I do 1,000 sit-ups alternate days, and than go for a bit of a run, maybe 20 minutes. The next day I'll do 500 press-ups, and then a run.
And I always eat a banana after. I do it six days, have one day where I do absolutely nothing.
