This is a picture of the 250-2v Australian head which I had cleaned and magnafluxed, hardened seats put in for unleaded gas usage and installed bigger intake and exhaust valves and new valve springs. I ported and polished different areas of the head for better breathing. I have rebuilt a Motorcraft 2150 2bbl carburator and obtained a Clifford two-into-one header.
A Duraspark Distributor and MSD-6A unit will hopefully finish the project. I will try to update this page as the work progresses.
The picture at the bottom shows some of the progress done on the engine, The Aussie head has been mounted on a great shortblock, which was assembled by Major Jack Collins from Orlando FL. I purchased it from him. It has 2.3 Tempo flattops pistons,over bored .040, Clevite bearings, ARP conrod bolts, the block was decked .020 and a 260H Comp cam.
