Paddy Wanless is
the 2007/08 Ricks Footy Challenge Champion!
Paddy has been top since week 37, and in contention the whole season. PADDY'S PRICELESS 11
didn’t have any players playing in the FA Cup final, but it
didn’t matter, as his lead was enough to see him crowned Ricks Footy
Challenge winner 2008. Congratulations Paddy, the league winners medal will
be winging its way to you very shortly. P Ruggiero’s
JIMPETER HOTSPUR II finished 2nd and had a consolation of
winning the Goals version of this league with 116 goals. RICKS RAIDERS finished 3rd, the top 3 have the bonus of
earning a place in the Hall Of
Fame. Jim Kent won the Starting XI RFC, TK HAMMER scoring a very impressive 1592
points putting him 403rd overall, and notching 45 points more than
his team made after transfers. Similar story for 2nd place in the
Starting XI Rich Hilliard’s YAXLEY WEST END who
racked up 1478 points without any transfers but 106 less with. Nice initial
team picking anyway guys. SINK OR SWIM were 2nd in the Goals table with 114 goals. All that’s left this season is to say have a great summer, there
will probably be a European Championships Super league as well so keep your
eye out for that in the next few weeks, details will be posted on the forum in due course. If
you are not taking part in the Euros then see you in July. |
