A city known more for its movie history than winter sports, Culver City has one of the few remaining ice skating rinks open to the public. Alex was eager to try this new sport and we were happy to find that the rink was only about ten minutes from our home. Alex and I were not seriously injured but Kazuyo hit the ice...with her head and was benched about fifteen minutes into the session. For me, it was a fun experience and brought back memories of my own childhood days at the ice skating rink in Concord's Sunvalley Mall.
