Genesis Again: Amanda and Evan: Evan and Al

"Dad", Evan said, "Is that you?".

"Well, in a matter of speaking. You should probably call me Al", the entity responded. "Not to get you totally confused but I was your father in your last life, your daughter in the one before and on and on and on."

"How many of these do I really want to know about?"

"I’ll tell you what," said Al. "I’ll just leave it alone and anything you want to ask me about I’ll be happy to tell you truthfully."

Evan looked around the room. He had arrived, he didn’t know how, into what could only be described as his dream study. From floor to ceiling nothing but bookcases filled with books. He had an urge to get up and read the titles. Maybe at a later time. Forest green carpet surrounded the room, warm and inviting. He was sitting on a dark maroon leather couch across from the entity "Al" who was sitting behind a dark cherry desk in one of those dark maroon "managers" chairs that Evan had always dreamed about. The desk had carvings around the sides and top of the desk. Evan did not know of what origin but it was beautiful. The top of the desk was sparsely adorned. Very neat. Very orderly. Could he really expect anything less?

"What am I doing here?", asked Evan.

"You already know that answer."

"No. I mean what am I doing here, here.", he repeated.

"I’m here to answer any of your questions concerning your quest. But, once again, I’ll be happy to answer anything else you want to know as well."

"Alright. Let’s start at the beginning." He thought for a moment. "I know what I have been charged to do. That has already been explained to me. I also know that Amanda will be joining me. Who else? How many? What are we supposed to do?"

"First", Al started, "You’re not charged to do anything. This is what you have chosen to do. I know that has been explained to you but it’s something you need to remember. No one is forcing you to do this. You are creating it yourself. There is a collective that has the same dream that you have that will be experiencing it as well or, rather, going with you. How many that will be won’t be determined until the time has arrived. I won’t go into time. That’s not my expertise and you’ve already been schooled on that issue."
"Right. I’ve got all that. And I’ll try to remember that I’m creating this. Now onto the rest", said Evan.

"Second", Al continued. "You’re not "supposed" to do anything. Other than what you want to do. He doesn’t care. That is, he gives you the choice to do whatever you choose but you already knew that as well. You’ve asked for it. He’s giving it."

"Got a real problem with that He/She thing, huh?", Evan said with a grin.

"Old habits die hard, I suppose", replied Al. "I’m here to help. To be your "mentor" for lack of a better word. I’m here anytime you want answers. Anytime you want direction. Anytime you want wisdom and guidance. You have but to ask and He will summon me."

"You’re not making the journey? I was kind of hoping you would. I really love seeing you".

"No, I have something else I wish to do with Marsha, your mother from the last life. It’s what I have chosen to do but I really love seeing you as well and, as always, I will come whenever you call upon me. You can still visit us whenever you want in your dream state."

"Yes, I know both of those are true.", Evan responded. "I will come to see you. How is my mother, or "Marsha", if you prefer? Is she alright with everything?"

"Now you know the answer to that question. Of course she is. We all are! Except your older brother from the last. We had some real fun with him!", Al said with a chuckle.

"I can only imagine.", Evan replied. "Is there anyone from previous lives, or should I just say my last life that will be joining us? Going back any further might only serve to confuse me."

"Here we go with that time line thing again. That one always gets my thoughts going crazy! I understand the concept. I just don’t understand how it works. As it is known. We are all perfect but not all of us are the smartest "nuts" on the tree." With that, Al busted into laughing. "In the current timeline, which can always be changed, A.J. and Brianna will be joining you at a later time. That’s about it for now except someone Amanda knows as "Ninny"? I think she was a great grandmother?"

"That’s right! I remember her talking about Ninny! She’s coming with us too?"

"Well. Not exactly as you think.", said Al. "She is going to be your first child".

"Now my head is going crazy.", Evan with his eyebrows arching up. "How soon will I be together with Amanda?"

"That’s only for her to say. She will finish her life shared before with you when it is her choice to do so. She doesn’t know right now what you guys are doing next. She only dreams of doing it and being together. When she is ready to leave the children you two shared then she will be here to carry on with you into the next life. Her soul knows that and her mind will follow soon. Her heart has long been there. You two are true soul mates but you already knew that. In the meantime (there’s that "time" thing again), there is much work for you to do. Are you ready?"

"I know that’s a joke. You and me have both know forever that I was ready. Next question", Evan said, "What do you do around here for fun and where did you get this incredible desk?"

"The desk, I created (duh)! For fun I go out and play with dinosaurs! Want to join?"

"I remember how much you loved dinosaurs!", Evan laughed. "I truly love you Al."

"I know you do, Evan. I’ve always known and I truly love you, too!"
