My summer was pretty boring, but the trip to Chicago was fun. The band survived the summer and has been playing shows every so often and we've been having alot of fun. The only great thing produced from my four months at home was the Drama cd that we made ourselves....it turned out very well even though it almost killed us. For all those concerned i'm in better spirits than I was at the end of my teens. Believe me it got darker before the light......but the light still came. Her name is Lauren, and I'll talk about her soon. I'm currently knocking out year three at school, and it feels good to be drawing again and seeing everyone grow up a little bit more around me. I met her at the begining of this new school year, and one could say we're a bit stricken with each other. Even though we're living a little far away from each other right now (she lives in Alaska) we'll be together soon enough. This certainly was not what I was expecting from life this year, but it's a very welcome change. So here's to growing up a bit, and here's to not growing up too much.
As for myself? Well, the second year at SVA is coming to a close and I just had a story printed in the school comic Inkstains....although the pages were put in the wrong damn order ::sigh::. I will also be releasing the long-anticipated MARSHMAN AND RAVING LUNATIC VS. THE ZEPPELENS OF DESTINY as part of my semester project. It's been almost a year in the planning, and it's turned out to be my best stuff yet.
In case you noticed, I was on MTV a month or so back.....that was a trip and a half. It was a great experience, and if you really want to hear more about it just check out the MY Gay Uncle site.(also done my yours truly). Expect to hear more from America's Greatest Band in the near future.
Oh yeah, and the Next Ex Contest is wrapping up....as I believe we have a winner, get those entries in if you still want a shot at a night of daring adventure.
