How many times have you tried to defend your beliefs to those persistent Jehovah’s witnesses? Only to have your own faith rattled? Many of us, whether we are Sunday school teachers, Deacons, Bible loving Christians or even Pastors are made to feel Biblically inept when facing the well rehearsed systematic presentations of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

We think to ourselves “How can this be? I study my Bible every night, attend Sunday School, Discipleship Training, why heck, I even attended seminary training and still these people have made me feel (with my own Bible) that I do not know or understand the Word of God! What can be wrong? Are they teaching the true Word of God? Am I following a false teaching?

Why are they so knowledgeable? Why do they seem so Christian like? They are modest in their dress, they seem to have very well behaved children and are zealous for the Word of God. Yet, my Pastor and the other leaders and teachers in the Christian Faith tell me they are false teachers and members of a cult.

What is the truth? Who are these people? And what about the message they bring? If they are presenting a false message, how are they able to prove each point with Scriptural references? And how is it that no one at my church can show me how to discount their teachings? How do I Biblically show that what we have believed is in fact the truth?

This page will be dedicated to giving you an understanding of what Jehovah’s Witnesses teach, why it is in error, and how to discount it using only your Bible.

The first thing that you must understand is what they are teaching is in fact a collection of teachings developed by Biblical scholars in Seminaries over the past five hundred years, as well as teachings dating back to the year 300 A.D. The Arian Doctrine of Christ created, the Docetic Theory and the Turtillion doctrine are but a few of the teachings used by the W.B.& T.S.

Secondly, J.W’s., capitalize on every major controversial issue within the Christian world, i.e.… the Romanization of Christmas, the celebration of Easter, Patriotic displays and even the shape of the Crucifixion Cross. This came to them from a former leader by the name of Judge B. Rutherford, who is the real author of their present day teachings.

The third point to know is that their doctrine produces a form of fear, if not terror, causing this zeal for evangelistic outreach. They believe that if they do not get their message out than the blood of our sins is on them and they could spend eternity in oblivion. Therefore you can expect them week after week to be knocking on your door.

Lord willing, I will be able to use this web page to guide you in correctly dividing the Word of truth.
