Actress Tamzin Outhwaite has spoken for the first time about her relationship with Eastenders heart-throb Nigel Harman.
Talking exclusively to Star, the former Eastenders beauty says 'Yes, it's true. I did see Nigel last year for a while, and we are still very good friends.
We've stayed close. I'd known him for a while before we got together last year.'
Tamzin, 33, and Nigel, 30, had kept quiet about the romance until photographs were unearthed of them kissing near Tamzin's North London home.
The snaps were taken a few months before Nigel joined the cast of Eastenders, back in April, playing bad boy Dennis Rickman. However, the romance between the two only lasted a few months.
Tamzin says it had run it's course. 'We didn't fall out. We just stopped seeing each other; it was just a natural thing really' she explains.
The star adds 'I'm still mates with all my exes; they're very dear to me, which probably explains why I've never had a kiss and tell story about me.'
The pair got close while Nigel was filming for a one-off appearance in Red Cap, broadcast in January this year.
And blonde Tamzin - who played Albert Square vamp Mel - angrily refutes claims that she helped Nigel bag the plum Eastenders role.
She insists 'I am not the reason for him getting that job. He did that on his own; he earned it off his own back.'
Nigel has recenlty been linked to blonde music PR Charlotte Brant. They met at the National TV Awards in October, where Nigel scooped Best Newcomer. Charlotte was photographed sneaking from his home the next morning.....
Shane Richie, Nigel's co-star, introduced the couple, and Charlotte is now the envy of women around the country, as her new flame as rapidly become a soap sex symbol. His philandering on-screen character Dennis Rickman, the son of the legendary Dirty Den, has slept his way around Albert Square.
